What is 'Diphasic'?

Diphasic simply means, "occurring in or characterized by two stages." It describes the way the human body operates; i.e. by day we are active and at night we sleep to "recharge our batteries" and replenish our energy for the next day.When we are young and healthy this daily cycle has huge ups and downs. Have you ever noticed how much energy a small child has? He is racing around doing things as if nothing can stop him. Then after a while he finds the nearest comfy spot, such as, a lap, a sofa or a bed and he goes out like a light. He enjoys that beautiful, deep and restful sleep that eludes so many of us as we get on in years.With aging and with declining health, the heights and depths of the cycle become less extreme. We have less energy during the day and our sleep is less restful. We awaken in the morning not full of vigor and ready to go but tired, groggy, needing a cup of something strong to "get us going".The Diphasic Nutrition Plan was developed by Dr. Schenker to put a boost into both ends of this cycle and give us dramatically more energy for the challenges of daily life. What Is The 'Aging Process'?

At about age 32, the human body begins to age, showing a steady drop in vital reserves. The Supplements
